Yoga Class
Classes

The classes combine technique, creativity and a therapeutic approach. Movements, rhythms, pranayama, bandhas, mudras and asanas together with self-inquiry, lead to alignment, vitality and integration.
The deep observation of sensations, muscular patterns and their relationship with thoughts and emotions brings a deeper sense of connection with oneself, along with physical and psychosomatic balance.
We work in order to build a stronger and more coordinated physical body, a more efficient metabolism, a free flowing breath, a detoxed system, more concentration, focus and insight.
The aim is that the students experience integration, taking responsibility for themselves and their emotions.

Hatha Yoga - Yoga for the emotional body

This is a traditional Hatha Yoga class with asanas, slow transitions and long permanence in each pose.
Proper alignment, precise bio-mechanics and internal observation of mental patterns and emotions are emphasized.
The ancient Vedic knowledge permeates the entire practice inviting the students to reflect upon their mental patterns.
The practice can be offered to students of different levels, adapted to the particularities presented, in a more dynamic or restorative way, with a slower or more demanding pace.

Vinyasa Flow (Round Flow Yoga)

Smooth and continuous transitions characterize this class where dance and sensitivity are present in long and fluid sequences of movement.
This practice is suitable for students who want to develop physical, mental and behavioral flexibility, who seek more resilience and skills to deal with excess control and rigidity, for example.
The energy flow guides the movements, generates a deep sense of relaxation in the muscular system as well as in the mind. At the end of the practice, the students feel renewed, without thoughts, deeply rested.
The self-investigation can happen during the practice, in the pauses, in the final relaxation and after the practice.

Yoga Dance (Dance Flow Yoga)

This class combines the creativity and expression of dance to the integration, structuring and strengthening of Yoga postures. A complete holistic work with a long lasting effect.
It lasts at least 2 hours in which students can gradually warm up their muscles and joints, deepen and expand their breathing.
Different rhythmic patterns of movement act on the energy centers (chakras) “unlocking” the prana when it is blocked or making it flow towards the center of the body when it is dispersed. Asana practice is more effective and smooth afterwards.
This work can call upon a great level of energy and “surrender”, so we must take care of sleep and nourishment before the class as well as leaving a “window” for rest and hydration afterwards.

Testimonials

"When I had my first contact with the practice of Yoga, in 2011 I thought: “this is definitely not for me.” However, one day I was invited to a Yoga class with Professor Bia Gaspar, there that class was Amor❤ to the first Asana! Professor Bia Gaspar conducted a Magic practice, a true dance for emotions. The way She conducts the practice, the respect for the student and with great honor to Yoga, were the decisive factors of transformation. I am forever grateful to have A Bia side by side on this path."

Gutho Curado, student

"Your classes make us on the path to transcending feelings and challenges in material life!!" Mother of Ana Sophia 7 years old and João Felipe 5 years old. Love being in nature and doing yoga is part of me as well as Krya! Affectionate kisses

Giselle Pinho, businesswoman

"As a yoga student, whenever I practice under Bia's guidance, I come back more organized internally. I realize that I am invited to investigate the relationship of the body - which is tangible, as well as observable - with unconscious habits and I leave as if I have more senses, in addition to being more ready to exchange with the outside."

Marcella Motta, student
